How to choose the right payment provider for your gaming business
The cheapest provider on paper is not always the best value. The criteria to compare before you sign.
Coverage and methods
Check which markets, currencies and local methods the provider really covers and at what approval rates, not just how many appear on the price list.
Total cost
Beyond the fee, consider monthly charges, decline costs, rolling reserves, currency conversion and payout costs. Compare on the cost per successful transaction.
Risk and compliance
Check experience with the gaming sector, the provider's licences, chargeback handling and policies on verification and anti-money laundering.
Integration and support
API quality, test environments, reporting, support response times and the ability to switch provider without rewriting the cashier.
A short scorecard with weights agreed by product, finance and risk teams avoids choices driven by a single criterion.
